Where we coach

Tennis lessons across the eastern side of Los Angeles

Two sides of the city. Around South Pasadena we coach mostly at Hermon Park and South Pasadena High School, covering Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank and the corridor down through Eagle Rock and Highland Park. On the Westside we coach at Colorado Center Park and other public courts around Santa Monica. We arrange the court — or come to one you already play on.

Neighbourhoods we coach in most

Tennis lessons in Pasadena

Pasadena is home base. Most of our private lessons, junior sessions and group clinics happen on courts within a few minutes of Old Town, and we know which ones are worth booking at which time of day.

Pasadena lessons

Tennis lessons in South Pasadena

South Pasadena is home base. We coach most weeks at Hermon Park and at South Pasadena High School, so a lesson here is a short drive on familiar courts rather than a trip across town.

South Pasadena lessons

Tennis lessons in Glendale

Glendale sits between our Pasadena and Burbank courts, which makes it one of the easiest areas for us to cover — including early mornings and evenings after work.

Glendale lessons

Tennis lessons in Burbank

Markos coaches at Khachatryan Tennis Academy in Burbank alongside his private clients, so Burbank is a regular part of the weekly schedule rather than an occasional trip.

Burbank lessons

Tennis lessons in Altadena

Altadena and the foothills are a short hop from our Pasadena courts, and daytime availability here is better than almost anywhere else we coach.

Altadena lessons

Tennis lessons in Santa Monica

Santa Monica is the second half of our week. We coach at Colorado Center Park and other public courts around the city, so Westside players get the same coaching without the drive east.

Tennis lessons in Los Angeles

We coach across the eastern side of Los Angeles — the corridor running from Downtown and Highland Park through Eagle Rock, Glendale and Burbank up into Pasadena and the foothills.

The actual courts

Where we are, week to week

Most coaching sites will not tell you this. These are the courts we are on most often — if one of them is close to you, a lesson is easy to arrange.

South Pasadena & northeast LA

  • Hermon Park
  • South Pasadena High School

Home base. Most junior, adult and beginner lessons on this side of town run here.

Santa Monica & the Westside

  • Colorado Center Park
  • other public courts around Santa Monica

A standing part of the weekly schedule — tell us where you are and we pick the closest court.

Two things worth knowing

You can ask for the exact court. Tell us when you want to play and we will name the court and send the address when we confirm. Or say nothing about it and we will pick the one that suits your time and your side of town.

Or we come to yours. If you already have a court you would rather use — a club, an apartment building, a school, a private court at home — we will meet you there instead. Just say so when you book.

Everywhere else

The full list of areas we cover

If your neighbourhood is on this list, we can arrange a court near you. If it is not, ask anyway — the boundary is about drive time rather than a hard line on a map.

How court arrangements work

You do not need to belong to a club, own a court, or know which public facilities take reservations. Tell us the area you are in when you book and we arrange somewhere close to you at a time that works.

In practice that means most lessons happen within ten minutes of where the player lives. For juniors that matters more than it sounds — a lesson twenty-five minutes away in Los Angeles traffic is a lesson that quietly stops happening by November.

Times that fill first

Weekday late afternoons between four and six, and Saturday mornings, are the busiest slots across every area we cover. If you want a fixed weekly time in those windows, book a week or two ahead. Early mornings before work and mid-morning weekday slots have the best availability and are worth asking about if your schedule allows.

Choose your coach

Two coaches. Pick the one built for your game.

Both coaches teach the whole game to every level — technique, footwork, serve, movement and match play. What differs is who each one is on court with most weeks. Book whichever suits your schedule; if you would rather we picked, just tell us the age and level.

Send this and it reaches the coaches directly — no marketplace, no call centre, no service fee. Most enquiries get an answer within a couple of hours during the day. If you would rather just text, that number works too.

  • No club membership needed — we arrange the court, or come to yours
  • A straight answer about which coach fits, even if it is the cheaper one
  • 24-hour notice to reschedule, free of charge
